A Premium New Zealand Species. Its excellent Sashimi grade flesh is firm, white in colour and high in fat.
Trevally is is more commonly known in New Zealand as White Warehou. Commonly found sout east of New Zealand. The flesh is white, firm and is prized for its high fat/oil content, rivalling that of Black Cod.
Preparation: Trevalla can be baked, curried, marinated, steamed, poached, smoked or fried.
Availability: Available year round while stocks last.
Shelf life: Best consumed on arrival or within 3 days from receiving product once defrosted.
