The octopus is a soft-bodied, eight-limbed mollusc of the order Octopoda. Around 300 species are recognised, and the order is grouped within the class Cephalopoda with squids, cuttlefish, and nautiloids
Preparation: Octopus, is often over looked as being too complicated to prepare and cook. However this is not the case and it makes a delicious Portuguese Salad which is quite simple to prepare.
Availability: Available year round while stocks last.
Shelf life: Best consumed on arrival or within 3 days from receiving product if thawed.
Fish for your health: An 85g serving of octopus has less than 150 calories and more than 25 grams of protein. Octopus is full of several key nutrients, including trace minerals and vitamin B-12.
