Char grilled Hake Steaks with Peperonata

Serves 4
 
Ingredients:
4 Hake steaks
1 onion sliced thinly
2 cloves garlic sliced thinly
1 red pepper cut into stripes and seeded
1 yellow pepper cut into stripes and seeded
3 ripe tomatoes peeled and roughly chopped
2t red wine vinegar
Watercress to garnish

Method:
Prepare peperonata as below:
1. Cook onions until they start to brown, add garlic and cook a minute more.
2. Add peppers and cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
 
Char grill seasoned Hake Steaks 5mins on each side or until cooked.
Serve topped with warmed peperonata and watercress.
